Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LinkTime ("Service") at linktime.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LinkTime is a scheduling service that allows users to share their availability and accept meeting bookings. The Service integrates with Google Calendar to check availability and create calendar events for confirmed bookings.

3. User Accounts

To use LinkTime, you must sign in with a Google account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Calendar Integration

By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize LinkTime to access your calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions to share calendar availability.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by LinkTime and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service (such as event descriptions or booking notes).

7. Payment Terms

Some features may require payment. If you create paid event types, payments are processed through Stripe. You are responsible for any fees associated with paid bookings. Refund policies for paid bookings are set by each host.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKTIME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LinkTime from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
